Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Social Autopilot. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What the service does

Social Autopilot lets you connect social media accounts you control, compose or generate posts, schedule them, and have them published automatically at the times you set. Supported platforms currently include X, LinkedIn, Facebook Pages, Instagram business accounts, YouTube, and TikTok.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity that happens under your account.
• You must provide a working email address. Some features require you to verify it first.
• You must be old enough to enter into these terms in your jurisdiction, and old enough to hold accounts on the platforms you connect.

Connected platforms

You may only connect accounts, Pages, or channels that you own or are authorised to manage. Your use of each platform remains governed by that platform's own terms and policies, and posts published through this service must comply with them.

Social Autopilot is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta, Google, X, LinkedIn, or TikTok. Platform APIs can change or restrict access at any time, which may affect or interrupt features that depend on them.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create, upload, or publish through the service. You grant us only the permission needed to store that content and publish it to the platforms you have selected, at the times you have scheduled.

You are responsible for the content you publish, including that it is lawful, that you hold the necessary rights to any images or video, and that it complies with the rules of each platform.

AI-generated content

The service can generate captions, images, and video. Generated content is grounded in the brand profile extracted from a website you provide and verify, and generation is constrained so that specific claims must be traceable to that profile.

Nevertheless, AI output can be wrong. You remain responsible for everything published from your account, whether you wrote it or generated it. Where an approval queue is available, we recommend keeping it on. If you turn on fully autonomous publishing, you are accepting that posts may go out without your prior review.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

• publish unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or infringing content;
• send spam or engage in coordinated inauthentic behaviour;
• breach the terms, automation rules, or rate limits of any connected platform;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, other accounts, or the underlying infrastructure.

Plans and billing

A free plan is available with usage limits. Paid plans are billed through our payment processor on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Deleting your account also cancels an active subscription.

Availability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee any particular uptime, and scheduled posts depend on third-party platform APIs that may be unavailable, rate-limited, or may reject content for their own reasons. Where a platform rejects a post, the service records the reason and shows it to you rather than silently discarding it.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms or that puts the service or its platform integrations at risk.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for content published from your account, or for the acts, outages, or policy decisions of third-party platforms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the service changes. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
